Spanish 17th century, possibly earlier Pinewood Food Cupboard or pantry. All original on sledge feet. The same style of cupboard would have been used since the 16th century or earlier. Remains of very early string were found attached inside the top of the cupboard, holes drillled in back, one side for attaching bunches of lavender or herbs to keep the food smelling fresh and appetising.   The remains of the string retained for carbon dating analysis if desired.         £850
